Product Review: Real bedside cabinet an an excellent price
The cabinet is made from solid wood - and made properly. The finish is very resistant to stains; I've spilled coffee on it quite a few times but the only thing that has left a mark was a rusty tin.
The table feels very strong and sturdy.
The reason I chose this is that the feet are chamfered, which is usually a sign of manufacturer that doesn't cut corners (there was a time when all feet were turned on a lathe). While this looks good, it is proving impossible to find even a close match with other items of furniture except from this range.
The draws are also solid, and have much smaller internal dimensions than apparent from the picture. Each draw measures 10 1/4 x 12 3/4 inches internal and is 4 3/4 inches deep (internal). The draws have stops to prevent them from pulling out. This, then, is for jewellery, trinkets and a reading book, not a real storage solution.
